Do you feel lucky, punk? Now this is lucky!

A manager who was saved by his mobile phone during an armed robbery has re-opened his jewellery shop. A gunman had aimed a bullet at Darren Prior's chest, but the bullet smashed into the phone which was in his inside jacket pocket, missing the 23-year-old by inches.

Man Yahoo has a completely obnoxious browser check at the main link. Not only is my browser not up to snuff I'm missing two different media players. Good thing they aren't checking for the text link.

I wonder what kind of wimpy firearm the thief was using that it couldn't penetrate a few layers of plastic.

PS: Can we please avoid TinyURL links. It not only obfusacates the link it adds another point of failure and it doesn't gain us anything as the actual hyperlink is displayed in the clear.

...plus tinyurl links expire and are then re-used. In the future they might lead to porn.

Only shorl.com does not do that, if you can quit the habit of posting shortlinks.

(I was just thinking in case you used a tinyurl because the form here didn't accept the quite likely mega-super-duper-long Yahoo-link, see. In those cases, use shorl!)
