Awesome. Totally charming. So frustrating that there aren't more interior shots in the first link, though. Vlada's House and Wee Hoose have some interior shots.
I've pretty much always lived in small spaces since I've been on my own... but some of these would be hard to take. I can look at them and say "yeah!", but the truth is, you can't have books, or board games, or keep art supplies or tools. I don't mind the idea of having minimal kitchen stuff, minimal number of clothes, shoes, cosmetics, etc. But some of the other stuff I would have to dump bugs me.
However, when I look around... I still sort of say "hell, yeah... I could dump a ton of junk" (and I live in less than 1,000 square feet). But the books! And the tools! Really, I love the small... but I guess not.
Actually... You know what? I've always dreamed of living on a houseboat. I bet I could accommodate whatever I had to strip and dump in order to live on a houseboat. I'm crazymad for boats and water... So I guess it all has to do with one's own personal eccentricities,
*shudder* Oh...but no. I mean, they're adorable, and I love looking at them...but I'm not even sure I could go in one for very long without getting the heebie jeebies. I once lived in a space not much larger, but since then, I seem to have developed both claustrophobia (and oddly enough, intermittent agoraphobia). I'll take a huge, high ceiling room with lots of windows, please. :) A sunlit warehouse works for me. Seriously, I can't stay in my computer room for really long stretches, and it's close to twice the size of some of these adorable houses. (15x12, thereabouts) I can't breathe, thinking about sleeping that close to a ceiling or a wall. Yeeek!
