You know, it's been something like 10 years since I've had to hear that thing. I'd finally forgotten it existed, and that I at one time lived in a place where this was a regional hit.

What I'm trying to say, ico, is that my heart is now filled with the most exquisite hate for you.

It's interesting though that the real message of this song is that Jesus is basically useless.

The real message of this song appears to that it's ok to lay into your kids. As long as you don't realise how "wild and angry" your hands are.

I always feel very uncomfortable gawking at things like this. Yeah, it's saccarine, but it's heartfelt and real, so I won't goof on it.

This was a big hit in Dallas (even on the secular stations) back in my late-80s Christian Rock days.

I also had big hair back then.
