Going by the format of the rest of the entries, this is from an album by Galas called "Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan"? Was he involved in it? Is it a ... collaboration? That would be sweet.
About the deadline: The last couple of swaps finished on a Monday. Because most folk read this site at work they wouldn't see the weekends reminders until they got in on Monday by which time it was too late for many of them to upload their swaps. I figured this time we'd do things a little differently and see if folk have fewer problems this time out. Sorry if that hasn't worked out for some of you.

soi distant, indeed. My original plan was to do a mix with songs about sexual anxiety, starting with The Au Pair's Come Again and the PJ Harvey/Bjork live cover of Satisfaction, but, you know, it's summer, and lighten up and all that. So pop held the day.
what do you know, polly was on my shortlist too. i guess the fact it's midwinter here, and my mix was put together late at night in my bedroom, which was about seven degrees most of the time, had a little bearing the track selection.
