Wherefore art thou, Pretty_Generic...? Please come home. I think the storm is over.
I was timed out for a week; I've been posting under "Mephistopheles" with Matt's blessing, although my Internets have been intermittently misplaced.
The FPP was not mocking Shouting's dead wife. I am not interested in hurting the feelings of dead people. It was mocking Shouting. If there was a different appalling music video with Shouting appearing by himself, I would have posted that instead, but there wasn't. Shouting's abusive nature was making people genuinely tense and unhappy. I wanted to deflate him. He appears to have fucked the fuck off, so ≡ Click to see image ≡ frankly.
This comment in the Shouting's Dead Wife thread seemed sarcastically callous rather than simply mocking. I think that it seemed to most people that the post itself was simply some sort of mean-spirited attack on the guy's emotions rather than just a "deflation".
I'm glad Shouting's gone, though; he was an idiot.
Wow, I had missed PG's deleted FPP. It was mean, but Shouting was such an unbearable ass. Even his flameout was subpar. I hope Shouting is gone for good.
