Happy Friday #2 Flipping through old bookmarks on my computer, I found this. MeFi's slow loading for me this morning, but I'm pretty sure it was posted to there a few years ago. However, rapping furries busting out boy band moves in the park are always a good time.
Oops, forgot: it's a QuickTime video.

Also check out
Vicious Battle Raps (so !@#$ awesome)
and The Hit Song
and 3 Feet Deep

I just love wordplay like that.

(Oh, and the furries make a little appearance at the end of VBR, too.)

That's fuckin' awesome. And probably the first and only furry video that didn't make me crawl out of my skin.

What's really scary is I can recognize every location in the video. There's maybe two or three I'd have to get in 3 guesses or less, but the rest I've been to.

The opening shot is upper Hollywood - That's the Capital Record tower in the background. There's a shot at an MTA subway/light rail station - looks like that might be the "Jesus Saves" building in lower downtown - either red or blue line. The park with the fountain is Echo Park. Looks like there's some Griffith Park in there - the scene with the benches and dirt. The bridge with the trains is just east of Downtown LA, it's either 2nd street bridge or maybe Alameda. The palm tree scene is either Echo Park again or maybe Venice Beach. One of the alley breakdancing scenes look like either lower East side just past the garment district or lower West side near upper Inglewood/eastside Culver city/Crenshaw district. There's a a few shots in upper Chinatown. The car driving scenes look like they're again either Echo Park or Griffith, but because of the lack of curbs I'll say Griffith. I'm missing a few, but you get the point.

That's awesome. I wish they would show that on MTV2 instead of all the rap videos with the bling and the bimbos.
