Fun With Words. Overnumerousnesses, eighteen letters long, is the longest English word that consists of only letters that lack ascenders, descenders, and dots in lower case. Honorificabilitudinitatibus, 27 letters long, is the longest English word consisting strictly of alterating consonants and vowels. Euouae, six letters long, is the longest English word consisting only of vowels, and, also, the English word with the most consecutive vowels.
And once you've embiggened your word power you can learn how to perform strong man stunts.

Ah, then it's the words that'll make a man out of Mack?

I thought that at first too when I caught only a glimpse of the URL. She is certainly a strong...something.

Indeed. You can embiggen your vocabulary AND your biceps.

Oooo. From now on, I'll lift weights with special words attached to them.

Can anyone recommend some good weights and words?

facetious contains all the vowels in alphabetic order

Painting and building are nouns that are also action verbs, so even once a building is completed it sounds like it's still in progress, and a finished painting is never really finished.

As do three other words: abstemious, annelidous and arterious.

A teacher once claimed (and I don't know if this is indeed accurate) that "strengths" is the longest word in the English language that contains only one vowel.

Completely from the other side, aa is a pretty word. And useful in Scrabble.
