If it's real and not "reality" real, then I'm surprised the University of Nebraska isn't a more popular college what with tutors that look like that.

Does anyone know how that worked out? I'm not a fan, so I don't know his history, but very few rock drummers would be able to play snare in a university marching band. Hell, most can't read music.

Can anyone find out how prevalent STDs are on that campus right now? We'll need a baseline to measure his progress against.

I have that movie, being a marching band snare drummer myself. Haven't watched it, though. Best friend from high school, also a snare drummer, gave it to me. I asked him if it was realistic, he said "kinda".

Even if you have talent and a lot of experience otherwise, with a piece of university marching band music placed in front of you, for snare, you're gonna have to have a good bit of formal training. A lot of stuff is built from the "rudiments" which folks like rock drummers will have picked up portions by osmosis but be unfamiliar with most and, anyway, have bad technique on the stuff they are familiar with.
