In college I used to insert things into newspapers in the machine in front of a diner I frequented. It started out with random sketches and ended up with old magazines I hadn't thrown out yet. Imagine looking through your morning paper and finding a five year old issue of Creem, Games (with half of the puzzles solved), Spy, or Print with no explanation.

In high school we use to enact the bartering system, emptying the contents of things and filling them with little drawings or trinkets of perceived equivalent value.

We were also stone broke scumbags.

This reminds me of "Shopping for Others", played in Pecker.
