Great stuff. Suddenly my sketch books seem a little lightweight. Or at least light - I'm either no cross hatching or all cross hatching - no middle ground.
The style is a bit like a modern take on Edward Gorey. That and another cartoonist who's name escapes me at the moment. He was European and had a few books featuring a raccoon - I used to read them over and over again at the local library when I was kid. I'm thinking the books were from the sixties since everything at that library was from the sixties. His name is...um...nope, still can't think of it.
I was thinking R. Crumb...it reminds me a lot of Crumb's style. Welcome aboard the weird bunny ship. (Which is like a mothership, only with carrots and often without pants.)
