It seems to be the consensus among lady-fancying humans that Scarlett Johansson was more attractive than Thora Birch in Ghost World, and perhaps even stole the movie. But this is insupportable. Insupportable!

She is damn cute. But Enid is more my type. Um, but Johansson is very cute. I definitely fell in love with her in Lost in Translation. I think maybe I'd like to be married to Sofia Coppola.

Incidentally, recently I finally saw Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse, it was very good.

I don't deny that Johansson is cute, person I'm not quite sure how to refer to, but it baffled me how both within and without the movie people were going gaga over her instead of Thora Birch/Enid.

I'm also pissed that my ebay-purchased iPod didn't come with a freaking USB cable, and now I have to wait until Monday to go to the stinking Apple store downtown to buy one. But that's another issue.

Scarlett is the insanely hot one, yes. But Thora (who is very cute) displayed a magnificent pair of boobs in American Beauty. So, as it stands, it's a tie.

I own Ghost World and was baffled by the suggestion that Scarlett Johansson was in it. ... *checks case* well what do you know? (it wasn't a long-considered purchase)

In any case, feeling attraction toward Scarlett J makes me feel... alive. Feeling attraction toward Thora Birch makes me feel like a pedophile. She is so much the child.

Whenever I think of sofia coppola, I always rememeber her horrible lip-twitchy performance in Godfather III, so I can't forgive her for providing an ignominous end to a trilogy that began with two of the greatest movies of all time.

Jude Law would be the male eqivalent to this eye. I don't get what women see in him. I never saw Lost In Translation, but with the exception of Caddyshack, I never cared for Bill Murray.

Hm, scarabic, that's harder than I thought. Generally, I think I like people I see in real life over celebrities. You know, it's one of those things where people get sexier the better I like them, so celebrities rarely rise above "okay." Also, the girls are always so skinny, and I'm not so into skinny. Plus the Angelina Jolie/Scarlett Johanssen lips that seem not to belong to your face thing--ick. I definitely see much hotter girls on the subway every day. That said

Girls: Helena Bonham Carter, all those girls in the Dove Real Curves ads, Renee Zellweger when fat, Virginie Ledoyen in 8 Femmes, Sopia Loren, Catherine Deneuve, Liz Taylor in the Butterfield 8 era, Sophie Dahl

Boys: Alan Alda, Adam Brody, the motorcoss accident guy in Murderball (yummmm), Bogey (it's all in the voice), Cary Grant, Jimmy Stewart, Owen & Luke Wilson are hot till they open their mouths, Romain Duris, especially in De Battre mon coeur s'est arrete

Umm, okay, so a lot of the people I think are sexy are either dead or really old. I'm not really sure what that means . . .
