Too stupid a question for AskMe→[More:]Why does the heat make me dizzy? According to the color of my pee, I'm hydrated. How do I convince myself that I'm not going to die of heat-related dizziness?
You could try taking meclazine - you can get it over the counter. I used to have dizzy spells that lasted sometimes for weeks; went to doctors, nobody could figure it out but they gave me meclazine, which helped. Than my great aunt Claire announced "She says she's dizzy? That's nothing dear! I've been dizzy for 40 years!" At which point I accepted my occasional dizzy spells and just learned to live with them. I'm still alive.
Also, if you drink diet soda, don't. Nutrasweet makes some people dizzy.
It's called 'heat syncope' and it's the least serious of heat-stress disorders. Basically, it means that heat makes you dizzy. No biggie. Unless you faint.
Next time it happens, if you're able, check your blood pressure. It may be too low. (You could always, um, buy a monitor from, say, WalMart, and then return it. But you didn't hear it here.)
You don't have to be dehydrated to suffer from heat syncope.
