Corpse Tennis, anyone? Some discussion aways back interested a few MeChatters in taking this whole exquisite corpse thing to the next level, which is, of course, one-on-one competition. And you can play, too!→[More:]

The rules are pretty simple: Player A creates a piece 450px by 200px and sends Player B a 450px by 15px strip. Player B then makes his/her own 450x200 section based on that strip.* This goes on for five rounds, creating a corpse that's 10 sections long.

I'm happy to organize and host the matches. So far Slack-a-gogo, ethylene, iconomy, taz and I are playing. We need an even number of players, obviously -- care to join us?

*I generally don't include the strip as part of the piece -- I create a 450x215 section, then crop out the old strip when I'm done.

Oh, should've explained: When the players go five rounds, they send them all to me and I compile and post them at Corpse Tennis.

Every corpse is different (every corpse is great...) so don't be concerned about density or that sort of thing.

I'd love to, but I can't corpse tennis or emcee for the next two weeks or so. In fact, I'll probably be scarce overall. Hopefully next time.

There's no timeframe -- amberglow, you can pick a match with someone later on when you've got more time (safetyfork might be avaiable by then, f'rinstance).

andrew cooke participated once before, so he might be interested.

No need to whip through it, eth -- we originally gave each player a week to complete their piece (although that was ultimately a bit too much time...).

I'd love to get in on a round later, but I'm gearing up production for the holiday season, so most of the time not spent training the toddler to be a human is spent making soaps, lotions, muds and other goodies. (Well, except for coming and hanging with you guys periodically.)

psycho: i wanna talk about that. i'm on the same project type i think. i'd love to tie it in with the mechat store.

me3dia: if he doesn't mind, i think i'll use one or two sgt. serenity's pieces.
and maybe we can have an image bank besides the bunnyscape image bucket to all use and share.
just ideas, but since i used some cc flickr for my last emcee, i wanna pimp the person should i be able to find him again.
