I'm happy to say that I have a fair number of his "pick hits," and let me add a fervent personal recommendation for George Lewis's Homage to Charles Parker (note: this is not George Lewis the New Orleans clarinetist, though he's wonderful too). But I want to know: when is Dragon going to re-release Lars Gullin, Vol. 5, which the Penguin Guide called his masterpiece back in their first edition in 1992? And how can I find a copy of Louisiana Repertory Jazz Ensemble, Hot and Sweet Sounds of Lost New Orleans? Too much music, too little time (and money)...
