It's called hotlinking, iconomy and is frowned on in many circles, as itis considered to be stealing bandwidth.

Hotlinking is when you actually post the image. I just linked to the url of the image. Like amberglow said, the link showed a "image stolen from" message...I didn't steal no images! I'm innocent, I tells ya. This is really getting me on a technicality, Your Honor.

So, um...enough about me and my thieving ways. Anyone gonna use the image that I stole? I mean linked to?

I just linked to the url of the image.

with the same end result as far as crappio's (or whatever his stingy self is named) server was concerned. i moved the image to my server and fixed the link. and yes, i am an admin GAWD. PHEAR MY POWERZ!
