Youcancallmeal is actually AmandaU****. She graciously changed her name at the (joking) request of mudpuppie, who didn't like competing for Amanda status on IRC and because as a budding teacher/lawyer, she needs her internet recreation to have a bit of a lower Google-ability.
It's pronounced You-can-call-me-Al after the Paul Simon song, not You-can-call-meal. That said, people sometimes still call her "meal" in IRC.
me3dia also calls her various names ending in -ated, after her former domain, evaporated.org.
And she has cool Threadless t-shirts too, apparently.
