We had a visitor last night! My spouse was fixing tea when she saw this unit in the front yard. We watched him mosey from the lanterns to the woods. Glad I hadn't put out any bird feeders on those same hangers! Also glad it didn't try to get into our rubbish bins. What a beautiful black bear!

It has been a long time since I've lived in an area with bears around. Great video.

Oh wow, that is awesome. That is a big bear.

George's mom, Daisy, a feisty old lady, had beehives on her farm and she used to go out and chase bears away from the hives, brandishing a big golf umbrella! I don't think the bears were anywhere near that size, though.
