What Next? →[More:]You guys have heard about my recent medical troubles, which landed me a three-month hospital stay. I'm back home now, but problems still pursue me. Today, I was sitting on the balcony of our Air b'n'b when while chewing a piece of candy one of my dental crowns fell out. On reflex, I spit it out into the parking lot below, lost forever. Hopefully, I can get it fixed soon. Of course, this is all happening in a strange city where I know almost nobody just to add to the fun.

(in more minor aggravations, I'm having a bear of a time setting up my beloved music collection on my new laptop-purchased before all these travails. iTunes is a disaster, and so is it's clone MediaMonkey but in different ways. Any expertise in this matter would be vastly appreciated.)

*exasperated sigh*

Hey, good to hear from you, and glad you're home! Sorry about the aggravations. It would seem that you are uniquely placed to test the old adage, "A bad day at the beach is better than a good day at work." Let us know your conclusions . . . .

We're at the dentist, as we speak, so to speak. He certainly has had his share of ordeals, big and small, lately. Funny you mention the beach, JanetLand -- it was a very beautiful kind of hell these last couple months (kept hearing 'so you think you can tell heaven from hell' on the radio driving to and from hospitals). So happy to have him home though. Thank all the gods ever imagined.

Just back from the dentist. I got a temporary crown in, getting the permanent one in three weeks. Had anice lunch at Bob Evans. My usic collection is still aggravating me, though.
