On my way into the hospital last night. Someone yelled at me from a truck something about wearing a mask. I replied with a finger and an "Ignorant cuck!". Not proud but what you gonna do?

Nothing you said would make them change their mind, so you might as well make yourself feel better. Fuck these people that get upset about measures designed to protect the vulnerable. I'm out of patience with them. Fuck them all to hell. The ~~horse~~ jacked-up truck they rode in on also.

Exactly. I keep turning it back on them. It doesn't change their mind but it lets me blow off a bit of steam. And, hey I didn't run out and punch a window out of the vehicle so that shows I am maturing with age.

You wearing a mask has zero impact on that guy, so fuck him.

The UK Govt's abandonment of any kind of safeguards in England means that my own personal responsibility has increased. (Wales, Scotland & Northern Ireland, being separate nations, have their own, much stricter, Covid restrictions still in place.)

This is pretty much where I am with masks.

My wife had an intestinal blockage on Sunday evening. Surgery Tuesday morning. So that's my week.

I was in a comfortable and good zone for about a month and then smack! stress time!

Still worried but I hope she is moving in the right direction.

She had emergency surgery at 6AM and she somehow called her boss at 5AM to tell her who to get to do the food orders and give instructions to her staff. (She is the Director of Diet and Nutrition for a 125 bed home.) 2 hours after the surgery she texted the instructions.
