So proud and not so proud tonight. For two weeks my country, Canada has been held hostage by a small number of goons crowding Parliament hill. This week my city has been held hostage and traffic across the border has been blocked. $600 million a day in costs and people being laid off all over the province.→[More:]

Blockaders have been bringing in bouncy castles and their small children to make it look like those, the majority, are terrible for wanting to move them.

I decided to take some 'me time' and do some hacking and infiltration. It's been fun but tonight has been mind blowing.

Today the city and the Automotive Manufactures Association got a court injunction to shut down the border blockade at 7PM and the channels blew up. Turns out about 80% of all the organizers are trolls. We have all been messing with these people. The local news station had at least 3 people on. The university law students had people on. It is now a party up in here.

But as we move toward 8PM there are at least 1500 cops around the blockade.

What happens next could be bad.

Saddest part of this is that it is driven by white supremacy and big money but it attracts some people who are lonely and having mental or emotional issues.

All streets blocked to traffic around the bridge area but the police have not moved for hours. More partiers keep arriving on foot.

The conspiracy theorists are on the rise here too. I've dealt with 'freemen on the land' (SovCits in N. America) for years at work, trying to use magic words to get out of debts. But now with Covid and anti-vaxxing, plus all the right-wing pro-Brexit shit, there's a convergence of all the nutjob idologies in the UK.

Face palm time. Woman compares herself to woman in Afghanistan.

So police cleared Huron Church Road, the 6 to 8 lane road connecting the 401 corridor to the bridge, this morning. About 10 arrests and 12 vehicles taken. Now the police are fanning out and taking anyone new who shows up.

The answer to 'whatayungonnado arrest me?' is yes. The area has many businesses including three grocery stores a department store and many smaller places. They don't want you parking in their lots to go protest so cars are getting towed quickly. Some people see this as 'unfair' and 'against my right to protest'. Ain't no fragility like middle class white fragility.

Best thing heard: 'About fucking time they started arresting these idiots. Anyone know where they are taking them? I've got to find my stupid son.'

Senyar, between FB and foreign content farms (maybe Russian funded maybe US right christian funded) and US right funding it is a continuous battle with a small group holding the population hostage.

Today the US funding site givesendgo has been hacked and redirects to a new site and a list of those who donated is circulating.

redvixen I was going to provide a wrap up of all this but real life, as it does, intervened.

Short version: Bridge is open. Looking through the records of donations I see that while we were beset with these dinks people in my own city were donating via givesendgo (that site is an absolute joke security wise). About $20K from my fellow citizens and about $45K from out in the county. The ongoing Canadian convoy people are still being infiltrated. US convoy groups are heavily infiltrated too. The leaders of the bridge blockade are in the wind. Hot Donna has not been seen since wed night.

But me, I am out. Had to take my wife to ER last night. I have been up for about 40 hours and am now off to sleep I hope.
