And while we're on the Canadian power trio tip, here's Triumph, live at the US Festival in San Bernadino, CA in 1983 doing "Magic Power.". Great anthem, rock, girls dancing in bikinis, and some guy emptying a wineskin (you don't see those much anymore) into his face, all in the first minute or so. I remember this sending my hormone-soaked 12-year-old mind into sensory overload.

Addendum, just over a decase later, Triumph bassist Mike Levine was a contestant on Wheel Of Fortune which is of course, hosted by Canadian Pat Sajak.

I read something about Rush and how they did 367 shows in 365 days some year in the early 70s. They knew radio wasn't going to bring them to peoples attention so they toured relentlessly and played anywhere.

A friend had Triumph play at his high school.
