In 1995 someone at IRS records put together a Christmas album to try to hit the soccer moms of America right in the feels. They picked a group of performers from the mainstream pop, R&B, country, and religious charts and themed it around motherhood and Christmas.→[More:]

It was not the blockbuster it was hoped to be. I just learned of the record this year and I can find almost nothing about it. No remembrances, no oral history, no tributes. There is nothing really awful here (well one song) and nothing great but I assembled a playlist for you. It's nice enough and likely you haven't heard most of these songs eleventynine million times.
