I liked Leon Redbone a lot when I used to see him on TV back in the 70's, on Saturday Night Live, etc. I few months ago I picked up one of his CDs at a thrift store. I tried playing it for my kids in the car one time instead of their usual top 40 radio station. They were quite dismayed. I'm not sure they even believed that I might have liked that at one time or that it could ever have been on the radio.
