Years and Years Anyone else watching this drama series? →[More:]I'm on ep 4 and completely glued to it. It isn't doing me head any favors, though, as my fascist Presidente is telling elected representatives of color to leave the country, caging children in cement bunkers, and batting eyes at white supremacists. Shit is really on fire. I don't know what to do.

I remember seeing stories about this when it was being cast but then nothing more.

What is the tone like? If it is sharp and savage like say Lindsay Anderson's stuff (IF, O Lucky man!, Look Back In Anger) I might search it out. If not I'll pass.

Hm. I don't know what that stuff is like. It's actually human, realistic, very intense drama, extrapolates culture and tech from where we are now, and projects an extremely plausible and dark future. Emma Thompson's character is chilling. The whole tihng is extremely well written.
