Holiday Cards travel by sled dog? I follow a sled dog team on Twitter (Blair Braverman) and they are offering to take your holiday cards part of the way by sled dog, stamp them with a special stamp, and then drop them off at the post office.

I am so thrilled by this, but so far everyone I talk to is "what? ridiculous!" (sample size of two, so far)

What do you think? :)
I'd love this, but they would have a hard way of going; down south here.

So you actually send them to a PO box in Alaska, where they pick them up, travel with them to another post office, and them drop them off. USPS does most of the work!

I love that when I mailed mine today, the post office machine said "sure, they will be there by 12/8, unless we can't get them there due to limited transportation".

Why not? People send stuff to Hell MI just for the cancellation mark. Having some doggos carry them seems like fun.

Yes, I love the idea of a team of huskies delivering the mail.

You say "ridiculous" like it's a bad thing.

Please update us when the cards get to their destinations.
