I've been away for a few days. →[More:] Sorry about that. I had a business trip to Orlando. I'm not a big fan of Orlando, but they have two awesome things: WUCF TV (which always seems to air better stuff than my local Public TV station) and WUCF FM 89.9 Radio which is one of the finer jazz stations you'll hear.

My wife said that my dog, Zelda, missed me terribly. The first night she curled up on my pillow and cried herself to sleep. The next day she found the towel I used before I left town, dragged it under my desk and quietly whimpered there. Thus it went for three days.

I got home tonight and she could hardly believe it. It was a joyful reunion. :-)

My sheep dog Hairy used to do that sort of thing every time I went away. It is why I no longer have a dog.

My cats miss me but at least they don't stop eating.

I've been petless for *mumble mumble* years, but yeah that's how it often goes. Time doesn't stop, it stretches out into infinity and you're never ever ever coming back, then bam you're there and it's magic!
