Where my volunteers at? Are you volunteering for the election, or anything else right now? Share your stories!
What a coincidence! I just completed my application and am starting my training to be a volunteer Guardian Ad Litem in my state. I can't do election volunteer work, I couldn't take it, but I sure like reading about your work, TPS! I am slowly plodding through the election threads on the blue, and give a little cheer when I see all the great volunteer work people are putting into this election season.

I'm doing a 25 hour gaming marathon as part of Extra Life to raise money for my local children's hospital next month.

Not allowed in my job. So I send lotsa money in a name I don't use professionally. I can't tell you how much I'd like to do more than that.

I'm not but my wife is. She's been taking stacks of call sheets home from the local Clinton office and entering the data into the election database.

The last thing I volunteered for was answering the pledge phone line one night at the local PBS station. The first 3 calls I had were from people who weren't pledging but instead wanted to argue some point that had just been made on whatever show was on. Hilarious and discouraging at the same time.

These days I mostly send money. At the moment I'm obsessed with Tinykittens.

Being on the other side of the Atlantic we're at a different point in our election cycle to you guys but as a result of the Brexit vote, a Conservative majority government and Theresa May taking over as Prime Minister I'm definitely feeling the need to be more active in my politics, and to do more than just vote.

I'm a Labour party member so, for those who don't follow British politics, the last few months have been "interesting" to say the least but now the dust is settled and local party meetings will be resuming, and I'm going to make a real effort to give some time and energy and not just my party membership fees.

This is just down the street from me. || Best phone ever.
