Oh for heaven's sake. What a tempest in a teapot. it's a great statue, not a seagull with boobs but a seagull head on an abstracted woman's body, and I totally get it for New Bedford where the idea is that a woman's identity is unavoidably bound up with the sea. It's cute and well done and has a clear message.

I don't like it but jeez, that's how art is, everyone doesn't have to love it. The boobs are, I agree with Miko, very reminiscent of ship figureheads. Nothing X or even R rated here. So this guy is an idiot.
