Too funny (I hope.)

At the check out, the cashier, who's about my generation, asked me if I color my hair......

I said "nope."→[More:]
She wanted to know became I don't have any grey hair....hmmmm. I look old enough for grey hair!!!!

Where's my sweet getiatric discount. *snicker*

Well, considering I started getting grey hair in my early 20s (and now have a shit-ton of grey at 40) being old enough for it is relative!

I have lots, at age 57. My first gray hairs showed up in my late 20s.

I found my first grey hair the month I turned thirty. That was nearly fourteen years ago. I was actually just telling my husband that I think it's time to start coloring my hair...

I've managed to go bald faster than gray. My beard is an amazingly complicated blend of brown and gray at this point, I wish it would just go all gray so that it doesn't look so patchy.

Found the first gray hairs at 14! However, the rest didn't arrive in earnest until my 30s.

I'm 37 and have lots of grey - far more than my husband who's ten years older! I keep thinking I might colour it but never quite get round to it, and probably never will now. It's not like no-one knows I'm grey.

I'm 54 and, when I renewed my passport past year, had to put 'gray' as my hair colour for the first time. It was touch and go for a while in the race between going bald and going gray, but I seem to have managed to comprehensively achieve both!

Hair colour isn't an item on the UK passport application, dg - didn't occur to me it might be in other countries! I think I'd still put dark brown.

I have had gray hairs since I was @ 16. Now at 61 most of my hair is white. I look at old pictures, and I just see that mane of black wavy hair. But I can't be arsed to color it.

Fifty-six is definitely WAY behind the curve for no gray hair. I found my first gray hairs at 15.
