I find posting pictures here . . . challenging . .. as it is fiddly and hard to remember how to fix the Flickr link. But I sure like seeing what people put up.

Senyar, maybe keep it going but make it a once a month event, e.g. first Friday, and give notice of themes a couple of weeks earlier?

I like the idea of a monthly photo Friday. As December is such a busy month for most of us, I will start this in January, if that's alright with people.

The Flickr link thing has made it very difficult. As this is an issue with Flickr, let's instead use our own image link rather than a direct link to Flickr. Screw Flickr. This'll mean using photos from our own hard drive, making sure they've been resized for the site, probably no larger than 800 x 600 for bandwidth and viewing purposes.

Not sure how the Flickr thing worked but as you guys probably know if you post to imgur.com it will resize the image to some common dimensions and provide direct links.

I am not much of a photo taker, and I found the procedure for getting a photo to show to be more complicated than I wanted to deal with, but I have always enjoyed looking at the posted photos, so I hope it lives on.

I couldn't figure out how to post images from flickr, so on the odd days that I had something, I couldn't post it. But I enjoy looking at the pictures posted!
