What's for lunch? I am eating a grilled cheese sandwich at South Station in Boston. You?
Slow cooker chicken curry. I use this blogger's recipes a lot when I put together "freezer meals", and everything is so good.

I had Lahmacun - Turkish-Armenian pizza, from a food truck in Walthamstow market. It was delicious, made by this woman who was like a machine, portioning the dough, rolling it, topping it with spicy sauce and lamb, putting it on the hotplate (a sort of industrial-strength George Foreman grill). This is how it looked, although she didn't cheat like these guys and use a machine to roll out the dough, she had a thin little wooden rolling pin.

She had an assistant who took the orders and the money and the assistant also added the salad (3 different kinds) and a squeeze of lemon juice. The whole thing was then rolled up into a delicious, hot, spicy wrap and served with a smile and an apology for the wait. Are you kidding? It only took about 10 minutes, there was a huge queue and everyone's lahmacun was made fresh and to order. It was amazing.

My LazyMan's Stacked Enchilada... dredge corn tortillas in canned enchilada sauce (I like the green), put between layers of cooked ground beef-or-turkey, refried beans, cheese, salsa, sour cream, guacamole and other appropriate stuff (this batch had julienned bell peppers left over from a less 'lazyman' meal project). Do it in a large round plastic container where the tortillas can sit flat, and microwave one minute per tortilla plus one minute. My containers can take up to 10 layers, and I can fork out 3-4 meals from them. If I have all the ingredients on hand, I feel guilty if I DON'T make it (and regular sized cans of sauce and beans make three batches... lotsa fridge space used by this). Second meal today... reheating time a half-minute per layer.

Some Trader Joe's frozen microwave something. You all have way better eating habits than I do.

I didn't exactly have lunch but I did have an earlyish Ethiopian dinner with collards, chick peas, lentils, and salad on injera. Also excellent coffee afterwards, which means I'll probably be up late.

Leftover quiche. Quiche is one of my go-to meals to make - super easy but looks fancy, and you can throw whatever leftovers you have into it.

Extra hot soy flat white and half a warmed blueberry scone from Starbucks, in the car while running errands.
