That's awesome, isn't it?

I'm pretty impressed with the effects.

I do hope they won't build it into a 90 mins Hollywood movie though. The beauty imo is in the briefness and its grass roots small budget genesis.

Yeah it's impressive CGI on their budget. I saw someone call it the movie equivalent of Synthwave. Interestingly, both Kung Fury and the Synthwave music scene seem to be homage paid to 80s American music/movies by Europeans.
