I thought I'd like the Telluride house the most, but that was before I saw the Albuquerque one, which I love. The Georgia house is too fussy for my taste.
I nearly said the Albuquerque house, because I've never lived in the southwest and am intrigued by it, but in the end I went with the Georgia house -- I think I'd be more comfortable and in more familiar territory. I do agree with Senyar that it looks a bit fussy in the pictures, but I'd be filling it with books, not knickknacks. I also love the idea of a guest house -- that would be my writing studio.
I love the outside of the Augusta house. Don't want to live in ABQ, and I don't like the house, or GA though, so that leaves the Colorado place through not hating anything about it.
I love all the natural light in the Telluride house. The ABQ house has some nice skylights, too. I want my next house to be nothing but skylights. #GreenhouseLiving
The Georgia house .. too fussy and would require a certain decorating style that isn't to my taste. The Albuquerque house has weird angles and I would feel unsettled living in it, plus I'm not fond of the desert landscape. That leaves the Telluride house, and I love the view from the master suite.
Albuquerque. I found the Telluride home cold and uninteresting on the inside, and the Georgia house would make me feel as though I lived in a stuffy museum. I am a fan of dry heat and desert, too.
Albuquerque, although I like the Telluride home too (but both of them need some decor changes to suit me). The Georgia house nearly made me sick with all that fussiness and dust-gathering stuff.
I tossed up between Albuquerque and Telluride until I saw the 8-car garage and I think that was what swayed me.
Of course, my mind sees it with all the interior walls repainted white, the kitchen and bathroom cabinets replaced with something more contemporary and very (very!) different furnishings ;-)
Albuquerque. No question. It just looks and feels cozy and friendly, and I love New Mexico.
Telluride is just too damned cold and snowy. I'm done with that crap.
The Georgia house isn't even attractive. Well, maybe the exterior is nice, but that interior...yeesh. I'd have to spend again the cost of the house just to make the inside livable. And, even then, I doubt I'd be comfortable in it. It's just too...dainty?
I like the Telluride house the best, but I want it to have more bedrooms.
I respect the style of the Georgia house and I like its kitchen the best but I am not really a fan of the ornateness.
I haaaaate the ABQ house- seems really low and claustrophobic while also being spread out and annoying to clean.
Georgia house (the Longfellow house in Cambridge is similar), but I would clear out the fussiness. Louis Phillippe is my favorite style for most furniture: solid and classic.
I simply can't imagine spending that much on a house. That's more than 10X what I paid for my current house. And at this point Mrs. Doohickie and I are considering how small we will be going in our next house, probably somewhere in the 1000-1700 square foot range. Those homes are just too ginormous.
