MeCha Mansion - a new candidate Apart from the decor, which may be to the taste of some but certainly not me, this looks like a pretty good candidate. I've put aside all I can for my share - now we just need another $6,999,950. Who's with me?

But I don't like this Pretentious Palace.

Please keep looking for a place that inspires me to contribute my $5. :)

I was just thinking... did you see the short-lived reality show "Utopia" which put a dozen extremely diverse people on an isolated ranch supposedly for a full year, but it got canceled and they got moved out after a few weeks. It was a nice looking property that I'll bet we could get at a reduced price!

I am TOTALLY with you. That place looks gorgeous.

I'll toss in the $6 in my pocket and a couple area rugs.

bearwife, that was my first thought on seeing the place, but as a home to a whole community of people instead of a couple (and some more sensible decor), I think it would be fine.

Wow, for a pisshead from Sheffield he didn't do too badly for himself did he? It's beautiful.

Listen, I don't mean to be rude, but if I am gonna drop my five dollars, I don't want it to be just any old flop house. I mean, did you SEE the size of the bathrooms? That one? You can only fit about twenty people in the shower, what the hell use do I have for THAT? Come on.
Sorry, but I will not be buying this house with y'all. Let me know when you find something classy.

Hell, I'd kick in at least 100 bucks.

OK I'm in but we need to put in a pool. I don't want to swim in the pond with the dog.

You won me over with the bookshelves and horse barn!

Wait, didn't he die, like, yesterday? They didn't waste any time listing his house, did they?

That was my thought amro, but it looks like it went on the market back on April 3. (source)

There's likely a lot of upkeep necessary for the place so we'll need a perpetual source of income after we buy it.
