Happy US Thanksgiving! I've been too busy, but cannot let the day go by without giving a warm hello and sending thanks to all the bunnies! →[More:]Today the kitty and I travel the hour trip to Mom's to cook a meal and start her Christmas decorating.

I'm sincerely grateful for Mecha: all the good folks who offer advice, encouragement, love, fun stories and interesting ideas.

I'm especially thankful for the folks behind the scene who volunteer and keep this place running. You deserve a lot of kudos for making it appear seamless.

Wishing peaceful times to all.

When a bunch of zealots seeking to the right to restrict religious freedom landed in the Americas, leading to genocide and subjugation of indigenous people, did they suspect it would result in the hopeful disruption of a bloated commercial enterprise in the name of acknowledging the disparity in "justice" or other such cultural clashes in the strained relations of human beings with one another in the struggle of commerce, power, and survival?

I'm going with no, because they really were a bunch of self serving, self absorbed fuckers.

We celebrated by going out for Indian food this afternoon and then to a movie. No pie but the vindaloo was very good.
