#notallslaveowners People with print subscriptions to the Economist (including me!) can still see the now-withdrawn review of "The Half has Never Been Told: Slavery and the Making of American Capitalism". Slate has a few tips for people who are reviewing books on slavery - best you don't condemn the book as advocacy for starters.

The review has spawned a very funny hashtag.
Been enjoying that myself. I love Twitter ever so much.

I got inspired by that hastag and tweeted this:

"C.S. Lewis fails to credit the White Witch's successes as queen, i.e., keeping Narnia fed through a 100-year winter. #economistbookreviews"

Oh, I hadn't thought about children's literature.

"Maurice Sendak's Giving Tree was woefully blind to a number of obvious monetizing opportunities. #economistbookreviews"

"Biased toward Mom's planned economy, Dr. Suess minimizes the positive effects of the Cat in the Hat's creative destruction #economistbookreviews"

"When living on government handouts wasn't enough, the Ingalls family resorts to mob rule to survive the Long Winter. #economistbookreviews"
