Game of Thrones spoiler spoiler spoilers thread Ok, who has not read the books but watched the show last night? I gots questions→[More:] mainly: Did you see that coming?
Now, I'm pretty much free of mainstream and intrusive advertisements, so I have no idea if people were meant to know or what it was like if you didn't know it was coming and what you think happened.

Meanwhile, on Mad Men: from now on I'm just waiting for Pete Campbell to walk into a room. At some point, I hope the show becomes straight on comedy. Maybe at the end they can just do a sitcom.

My spoilers are usually more in jokes until I get the big go ahead.

I've read the books, so I can't comment, but my husband said that he suspected something was going to go down, but thought it was going to be centered around Oberyn Martell and Tywin.

Mad Men? Happy Pete Campbell is awesome. Of course he's the only happy character at the moment. Typical Pete.

We get GoT a day later than the USA, so I watched it this evening. I haven't read the books, and I totally didn't see it coming. I knew something awful was going to happen, but I never would have guessed that outcome.

So... who do you think did it? For us in the know, there were a lot of cues in the shooting of the scenes, the background players etc. (Nothing too overt, but it was there.) Did you pick up on anything?

I'm not trying to do the smug "I know it all" thing -- I didn't work it out for a long time when reading the books -- just interested to see if you did pick up on anything.

I can never remember the characters' names, but I think it was the Diana Rigg character. I'll probably re-watch the episode at some point this week now I know what's going to happen.
