What's for lunch?→[More:]I'm taking myself to McDonald's. FRIES FRIES FRIES. And a chicken sandwich.
Nothing. I am sick and had to come home early from work. I have a sore throat, blocked sinuses and I'm about to go to bed for the rest of the day (it's 4.30pm).
Well, for spring I woke up to fresh snow everywhere. Same thing happened last year, now that I think of it.
For lunch, a burrito I made at home this morning. I prefer to go home for lunch but things are very busy here and you don't wanna lose your parking spot.

Had a ploughman's lunch (cheese, triscuits, an apple and some carrots.) I'm playing hookey tomorrow so I've been busting hump trying to do my pre-Saturday shop prep and my regular work.
Went to Costco at 11AM. They were handing out tasting samples of salmon, teriyaki chicken, belgian waffle, Skinny Cow Ice Cream and pierogi. Peter & Pat, the pierogi guys who only come around twice a year are here this week, so of course, I went home with two Costco-sized packages, one each of onion and four cheese. After not breaking the bank at checkout (but disappointed they didn't have the advertised 1.5gig external drive for $79 in stock), I went to the Food Court, decided I was not in the mood for either a quarter-pound hot dog or a big slice of foldable pizza, so I got the "Chicken Bake" (white chicken, bacon bits & cheese stuffed in a wrong-shaped calzone crust) with a berry smoothie (never once asking "what kind of berry?") Future lunches will feature the contents of the 48 ounce jug of Santa Barbara Salsa Fresca and the 2 lb. package of pre-sliced Dofino Havarti Cheese (and some dinners). And lots of pierogis.
