True Detective. Anyone else sorry they put up with all 8 hours? Loved the first three episodes but by the end of the forth it all started to seem a bit puffed up and going nowhere. →[More:]I was going to abandon it but foolishly didn't. The look was very good and the two leads were great but while we were told the tropes of the genre were going to be toyed with it turned out to be just another cop/buddy story (male and white natch) The misogyny was just misogynist and not an examination of anything at all really. The dense language turned out to be false profundity going no place.

If they give this another season I won't bother to watch.
