Friday Question Are you making any resolutions for 2014?
I am -- mostly to do with fitness, being a solid nutritarian, and tackling my Italian study again.

Kidlet is eating regular food now so my only resolution is to start menu planning and cooking, which frankly is my #3 least favorite thing to do. So there will be a lot of sucking it up and figuring out what works best for us. Though I am looking forward to our weekly Breakfast!!! night.

I'm going to do NYRR 9+1 so I can run the NYC Marathon in 2015!

Honestly, no. If I set grand resolutions (I'm going to work out, lose weight) I talk myself out of them quickly. So I'd rather do small changes/improvements, so I don't chastise myself too harshly and give up so fast.

Write and walk. I'm thinking of buying a treadmill or elliptical to help with the walking. And this will be the year I finally write/finish my first novel. (If I don't believe it, who will?)

Fix my damn back. Been dealing with this stupid bad disk in my back for most of 2013 and I'm just not going through another year with it. Going to talk to the surgeon about it next week.

Like TPS, I'm going to do the 9+1.

My other big thing is that I am going to be a motherfucking adult and start going to bed at a reasonable hour in order to get more than 5 or so hours of sleep in a night. It's ridiculous, and I think I'm at the stage where I could be seriously damaging my health, long-term if I don't sort myself out.

Word to your second resolution, gaspode. Getting decent sleep has enabled me to get so much more shit done in my life.
Upon the arrival of 2013, I vowed to not get on an airplane the entire year. On that, I was thwarted. I traveled more in 2013 than I do in most years. I want to travel in 2014, so maybe that will be the year I finally stay home? I wouldn't mind, really I wouldn't.
Other than that, I have a couple of fitness goals. I'd like to up my crocheting game and bake more bread. I aim low.
