Milestones in blogging A U.K.-based website called LoveKnitting.com has hired me to blog for them once a week. My first-ever post for them may be seen here and treats of Hobbit-style knitting.
As knitting blogs go, are they good?
I don't know what that means in terms of quality, viewership, reputation, etc., but is there a knitting blog pecking order?
Give us the low down and dirty on this linty underworld:
Who are the big guns? The authorities? The wise ones? The Godfather? Or is that grandmother?
Who are the crazy geniuses with their innovation and chutzpah?
Who are the crotchety old timers?
Who are the ones to watch?
i remember when you were just the train "Knitting Lady." I suppose they'd want you to use a real name, but that stuck with me because you can totally see people on a train getting proprietary about their knitting lady.
I bet Stephen Colbert has gotten that last one and the Hobbit scarf many times.
Thanks all! I'm feeling very chirked that the article has gotten three comments, all very positive. LoveKnitting still hasn't fixed the heading though they told me they had. Another email sent about that.
