I decided I had to find it, but it was a instrumental classical track, last heard in the 1970s, on one of a jillion permutations of the Time-Life empire. How to proceed? I asked my mom, and she gave me the 8-track (!!), but I had no way to play it, and there were other songs on it that I couldn't identify from the title.
Hello, Internet and the world of Christmas music blogs! After some intense Googling, I finally saw the tracklist of a similar compilation on a Christmas music blog. I contacted the blogger, and he sent me the album, and I confirmed that the piece listed was the one that I remembered. Reunited with this lovely earworm at last! I hope you enjoy
