I'll probably never see one of his own movies but I'm impressed with his knowledge and passion for early films.→[More:]I've been watching a bunch of silents on Netflix, Amazon and Hulu lately; just watched Broken Blossoms yesterday which if you can get past the 100 year old racial attitudes, is a pretty amazing movie. Kubrick totally stole the Axe through the door scene in The Shining from this movie.
