Senyar, I doubt they would be surprised. Someone has died in pretty much every inch of this tiny city and that is just a fact of living here.
I lived very close to where the Park Slope plane crash happened and we all knew about it. Friends who live in former Italian mob areas assume that shady stuff happened all the time on their stoops.
