I love Jeremy, I'm so sad he's gone :(

Me too! I was so upset (again!) that they didn't kick Ken off. I don't like his designs or his bitchiness.

Can we talk about Alexandra not being in the bottom three? That dress she made was BAD. That thick, stiff fabric that was so sheer, bleech.

Alexandria should have been off this week, I think. Hers was even worse than Ken's.

Ken is the worst. He has no respect for anyone. Major issues.

I thought Dom's second dress was horrible- it looked so skewed and screwy. I kind of hated everything and wish they had just ditched the entire episode.

Do any of you read Tom and Lorenzo? Great site, the commenters there are hardcore into PR. God, yes, Alexandria's dress was shocking. But maybe we should be thankful that she didn't make plaid poopy-pants. I thought all three plaid outfits were horrible, they all looked like tablecloths. I don't know who in their right mind would wear that winning dress.

I really liked Justin's coral dress, I thought it looked great on the model and looked fabulous against her skin tone, but it probably wouldn't look so great on a short, dumpy white girl. And I'm so sorry to see Jeremy leave - he was my favourite to win. Out of everyone, I think he designs clothes that ordinary women would want to wear - I know he was criticised for designing 'matronly' clothes, but, you know, middle-aged women like to wear nice clothes too and I don't want a baggy crotch round my knees or a high-low diagonal hemline or a no-bra backless top.

Dom's second dress was a mess too. But then I live in jeans & t-shirts and, given that I nearly always disagree with the judges, quite obviously I must know nothing about fashion.

Ken is way past his sell-by date. That second dress of his looked like the kind of cheap and nasty hoochie dress 17-year-old girls wear to go out clubbing. But I'm looking forward to his meltdown next week. It wouldn't be PR without the draaaah-maaaah and the 'real women' challenge always seems to bring out the worst in people (remember Jeffrey making Angela's mother cry?).

Also, I feel so sorry for Alexandria's model. That poor girl seems to get all the worst clothes to wear - she was Mr Crazy Sparkly Unicorn's model at the start. I don't think she's had a single nice dress yet.

Nobody on PR is allowed to make clothes anyone but Heidi would wear! 5'11 supermodel Heidi.

And yes, that poor model has worn nothing but bad clothes. She might be bad luck, or the anti-muse.

I actually liked Dom's second dress; it took me a minute to warm up to it, but I thought it was interesting while still being wearable. Well, "wearable" for women with model-type bodies, but still.

Was Alexandria's the one that looked like the model had tied a plaid shirt around her waist?

I liked Jeremy a lot but he never did anything new or different. Still, Ken's second look was just bad. Dom's first look was really bad. That little house on the prairie line killed me, though.

Since when is plaid Southern? I think of it as a cold weather thing, damp, UK, NW.

I thought Justin's was the most "modern Southern woman" besides Dom's second look, but their "woman" is always some 6 foot rich teenager.

I liked show they showed someone apologizing to their model because these girls are pretty young and when they criticize the clothes, they do sound like they are ripping apart the model. I wonder if they ever counsel the girls who don't already know how to deal with the whole nature of these kinds of jobs, because that anti-muse girl seems pretty fragile at this point. Even if you have a solid sense of self, hearing people pick you apart all the time is wearing.

Since when is plaid Southern? SINCE NEVER, I was cracking up.

I have a question for the modern Southern woman, but I'll stick it somewhere else.

I know the original lightweight seersucker/cotton plaid - Madras - originated in India.

Yeah, I do think of Madras as being fairly Southern, but I always saw it used in a much more preppy way in the Atlanta area. Tailored Bermuda-length shorts, mostly, and generally for men.

I don't think of madras as plaid. I think of it specifically as a warm weather/vacationy thing, and I was thinking why they didn't go more Eastery/madras then they started going for the plaid. The concept really is kind of Spring line more than resort wear. I'm not very in touch with the current Southern woman, but besides bold and feminine, I don't know what it could be.

Also, madras still seems more Brit/New England to me, but I'm way more familiar them. I don't even remember any native Southerners wearing grungy plaid in the 90s.
