Pants Me! (For Europe) I need to start packing for London, Brittany and Paris. My pants inventory is as follows:[More:]

1. Regular Levis Blue Jeans
2. Some REI travel pants, light weight, microfiber, with a few hidden pockets, brown.
3. Woolrich cotton 'tactical' pants, with cargo pockets, in navy or black.
4. Docker slacks in black or khaki.
5. Gramicci yoga-type pants, with an attached webbing belt, a bit worn.

I have a couple pairs of white linen pants but it's after Labor Day. :-)

I am just carrying on for luggage, and I am not sure what pants would work well and (which I can't really avoid looking like a yank) minimize my USianess.

Any advice will help, and if you suggest a pair of pants that I do not currently own, I am open to it.

Thanks!
1 pair of jeans. 1 pair of dockers.Wear whichever is heaviest of the two. Yoga pants to lounge around the house in. I have laundry facilities on site. We aren't going anywhere fancy.

We are going to the Old Vic. I am going to make sure that my wig is powdered.

Not seeing any leather in that list.

Ha! Theatre-going in London is very casual, unless it's a gala performance or a premier.

I agree with Senyar, though I might take both pairs of Dockers.

I'd just bring the jeans and REI travel pants.

Something loose and comfortable for the plane, for sure. And if they offer you the extra leg room seats for extra money, go for it. It's worth it. The planes have gotten so cramped these days (unless you're flying Virgin -- Virgin and JetBlue are so much more comfortable than the other airlines).

Have a great trip!
