So The Tennesse Hussy Cocktail... Is made with a very dry sparkling wine and JD Tennessee Honey Whiskey - it's totally fine but I fele like it needs a garnish or a splash of something to really make it great. What do you think? [More:]

I kind of want to mimic the Brazen Hussy and add a shot of orange liquor, but JD Honey Whiskey is SUPER sweet and I feel like it really needs a non-sweet flavor there.
A curl of orange rind?

I like the orange rind idea and maybe subsitute cayenne with a teaspoon of fireball liquor.

Or maybe even paprika.

I am kind of in love in paprika.

( mint feels like it would conflict with the sticky sweetness of the JD but maybe muddles....)

I was thinking just a couple leaves, perhaps rubbed around the rim. More for the scent than the taste.

By the way, I meant peel or zest more than rind, but sometimes I write faster than I think, I'm sure some of you know the feeling.
