Help! Quick Excel answer, anyone? how do I email an excel spreadsheet so that it doesn't look like a spreadsheet? It prints out looking fine, so why, when I email it as an attachment, does it come out like it's still a huge Excel spreadsheet?
Change the view before you save, I think.

You have choices like Page Layout view, then there's the Page Break view which is nice for presenting, it greys out empty fields and presents the document as it would be if printed out. I used to do that a lot before sending things on, the bosses found it easier to look at, especially if they were handling a hard copy too.

I think there's a Full Screen view as well, that might be what you're looking for. You should be able to save it and it will keep whatever view mode it's in.

IIRC you can find it in the View menu or there are some little buttons on the bottom of the window that switch the view.

you could always just take a screenshot of it and attach as an image file

I think it depends on the settings the receiver has on his or her Excel program.

I've used this PDF Converter numerous times for Word documents, and it says it works with Excel files. Maybe convert it to PDF, and then send that?
