Mid-month goal update! So how are y'all doing on your goals so far?[More:]

1. I will continue to rock my dance classes. (Sword and then zills on Mondays, Basics on Tuesdays, Bootcamp/choreography on Saturdays)
So far so good. :)

2. I will be productive at work and make significant progress on the collection I am working on. (I am currently being super lazy about typing it up. As of right now, 73 boxes remain.)
I've done 1 box and a few folders.

3. I will not fall on my face at Run or Dye on the 17th, even though I haven't been doing any sort of running/slow jogging since early May.
Heh, that's coming up on Saturday.

4. I will develop a new solo choreography that is not related to the Broadway or October haflas. (Mostly because I need something new for AKD's performances.)
No progress on this yet, but I've got several ideas in the pipeline.

5. I will make significant progress on my silver bra because I need that thing to be done by November.
Side panels have been sewn and need to have interfacing put on them. Then I need to connect the side panels to the cups, the cups to each other, and sew the straps. Then I can start decorating and doing some of the fitting.
1. I finished my Juice Reboot on Tuesday. But I am semi-continuing it, having at least 3 fresh juices a day, mostly vegetable, and just one meal. I want to lose another 15lbs.

2. I now have a deadline by which to de-clutter, because I've engaged a cleaning company to give my place a big one-off clean before Danf and Vicki arrive in mid-September, and then once a week from the start of October. So I know now that I have to get on and clear out all my old tat before the big clean.

1. I will complete DragonCon costuming (one way or another) because it starts at the end of the month! This is going well. The vest is mostly together, with buttons, buttonholes, and sideseams left. Hopefully I can get something done for me this weekend.

2. I will bring in two photos to sit in the currently empty photo frames in my office. I've looked at photos, but haven't printed them out.

3. Exercise. I will do yoga once/week. I will get my step count up to goal several times/week. (currently goal is 5500/day. I'd like to move that goal up to 10,000/day eventually.) did yoga once, but it seemed to mess up my neck, so I worked on recovery. This week I reintroduced myself to the treadmill, but realized the battery in my fitbit zip was dead afterwards. So sort of?

1. I really will lose those 5 lb this month.

Down 3, 2 to go.

2. My husband's annual barbecue for his family will be fabulous and I will be tremendously helpful and there will be no squabbling before and after.

Yep, nailed this one. And I must admit I had fun.

3. I'm going to polish off my current yoga class and register for another.

Yes, went to the last of my current class last night and registered for the next, starting next Wednesday.

P.S. needlegirl, you are probably an experienced yogi, but just in case not -- my yoga teacher says ideally do 10 minutes of yoga a DAY and certainly several times a week, because otherwise injury is likely. I have my mat and yoga clothes etc. set to go in my bedroom and since the class about 6 weeks ago when the teacher said this, I've just been doing the 10 minutes right after I make my bed.

Bearwife - I am *so* not an experienced yogi. :) I've been going off and on to classes about a year, but more off than on! That would make a lot of sense - it was my first time back that I feel like I stretched something weird. I will try to start doing a couple of minutes at home every day and then go back to class -thank you!

What kind of yoga classes are you taking?

Vinyasa. I love the flowiness. But if all continues to go well I'm going to sign up as well for a Bikram class this fall. (I love Bikram when it is cold and rainy outside!)

P.S. My yoga teacher says just do your home practice until you "break a sweat."
