If he ever sells a cartoon to the New Yorker with a caption that's a MeFi catchphrase, he will become A GOD. (More so if the catchphrase is "this will wendell")

You can see it when it's printed! In few weeks/two or so months.

Oh god, oneswellfoop, you are on to something. If I ever see one of Whelk's New Yorker cartoons that references taters I will positively DIE of happiness.

Huge congrats! After 40 years of amateur cartooning I'm finally trying wrangle my inking skills to try submitting some cartoons myself. My goal isn't even to be published, it's to go through the process of submitting some to know I finally tried after a lifetime of thinking about it.
